How to use them together

  1. On payday, fill in a paycheck budget worksheet: bills due before the next payday first, then savings.
  2. Copy each sinking-fund amount onto the sinking fund tracker and tick the payday.
  3. Write each envelope's amount on the envelope planner and log purchases as you go.
  4. Check the daily number before bigger purchases. On the next payday, start a fresh worksheet.

Want the numbers done for you? The safe-to-spend calculator and sinking fund calculator run in your browser with no sign-up, and the biweekly worked example shows a full month filled in.
