Welcome to Paychunk! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paychunk mobile application operated by JB-AI Productions LLC ("we", "our", or "us").

By using Paychunk, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Important Disclaimer: Paychunk is a personal budgeting tool and does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. The tax deductible tracking feature is for personal organization purposes only and does not constitute tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial and tax decisions.

1. Description of Service

Paychunk is a personal budgeting application that allows you to:

Track income from paychecks
Create and manage budget categories
Record transactions manually or by scanning receipts
Monitor spending against your budget

Paychunk does not connect to your bank accounts, transfer money, or provide financial services.

2. Account Registration

To use Paychunk, you must create an account using a valid email address or sign in with Google/Apple. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Providing accurate information

3. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier: Includes limited features (2 paychecks/year, 30 receipt scans/year).

Premium Subscription: $3.99/year, includes unlimited features.

Subscriptions are billed annually through the App Store or Google Play
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
You can manage subscriptions in your device's account settings
No refunds for partial subscription periods

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Upload malicious content or interfere with the app's operation
Reverse engineer or copy the app's functionality

5. User Content

You retain ownership of data you enter into Paychunk (budgets, transactions, receipt images). By using the app, you grant us a license to store and process this data to provide our services.

6. AI Receipt Processing

When you scan receipts, images are sent to Google's Gemini AI for text extraction. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

Receipt images are processed by third-party AI services
AI extraction may not be 100% accurate - always verify important data
You should not scan receipts containing sensitive personal information beyond typical purchase data

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Paychunk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on app data
We are not liable for data loss, though we make reasonable efforts to protect your data
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or our data deletion page. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States.
